Garden Market Blossoms Each Spring!
FRIDAY, MAY 3 (9-6PM)
SATURDAY, MAY 4, 2023 (9-4PM)
As part of their mission and ministry, St. Mary Anne’s Episcopal Church hosts an annual GARDEN MARKET on their beautiful and historic church campus. During this two day event, over 75 garden-related vendors from the tri-state area sell flowers, trees and shrubs for spring planting. Over 6,000 visitors walk through their gates during the family friendly event.
Guests are treated to an amazing array of beautiful spring flowers and plants. They also have the opportunity to shop for natural soaps, fresh produce, pottery, and garden themed ornaments and statuary. The Bake Table is fresh with delicious homemade treats, and food vendors provide a delectable selection of food including famous Maryland crab soup and pit beef sandwiches. This beautiful event is a treat for the senses!
Throughout this lovely spring–rain or shine–two day event, guests enjoy and celebrate nature, meet their neighbors, and enjoy free entertainment by local musicians. For the children, they have activities including duck races and marigold flower potting. Church tours reveal some local history and our beautiful worship space. There is a lot to see and do at this fun community event!
Please note: Visitors are urged to bring a wagon to hold their purchases, but to keep their pets at home. Admission is free, but they encourage your support and generosity at vendor and ministry booths.
