Cecil Cares 2024

Cecil Cares is an annual, countywide day of service coordinated by Cecil County Department of Community Services – Community Partnerships Division and a Cecil Cares Planning Team; the event receives support from Upper Shore Regional Council. Cecil Cares offers citizens the opportunity to connect and volunteer with local organizations (nonprofits, government agencies, and faith and service-based organizations) on a variety of service projects throughout the County. The 9th annual Cecil Cares day of service is scheduled for Saturday, October 5th.
We invite local non-profits, faith-based and government organizations, and businesses to join us by submitting a project.
Possible projects include but are not limited to:
- Roadside/waterway clean-up
- Landscaping
- Painting
- Donation drives
Submitting a project is easy by using the online application by July 19, 2024:

If this is your first time coordinating a project, do not worry, the Cecil Cares Planning Team is here to assist. Information sessions will be held on August 21, 2024, where organizers of past projects will be available to answer questions and give feedback.
