The Arts in Education (AiE) Program is designed to promote, strengthen, and enhance the arts and arts education in Cecil County’s elementary and secondary schools and other community settings.
Community Arts Development Grant

The Community Arts Development Grant program of the Cecil County Arts Council, Inc. is designed to:
- Foster excellence in the arts in Cecil County
- Provide project support for non‐profit organizations to bring quality arts programs to residents
- Encourage audience awareness of, and participation in, artistic expression in all media.

Public Arts Across Maryland Grants

The Public Art Across Maryland (PAAM) program offers Conservation Grants to organizations to support the conservation and preservation of existing public artworks in Maryland.
- Planning Grants: up to $10,000
- Project Grants: up to $30,000
The deadline to apply for the Public Art Across Maryland New Artworks and Conservation grants is Friday, January 26, 2025. Everyone planning to submit an application for the spring deadline is encouraged to contact Public Art Program staff directly to discuss their application prior to the deadline. Maryland Touring Grant
Rolling Deadline
The Maryland Touring Grant provides funding to eligible Maryland-based nonprofit organizations to support the presentation of artists listed on the Maryland Performing Artists Touring Roster. Before applying, first select one or more artists from the Touring Roster. Contact the artist(s) to negotiate the availability of dates, activities, fees, and other performance details.
Grantees are required to submit a brief report detailing the use of funds at the end of each fiscal year.

Grants for Artists applications are open now! Submit a simple application for $2,500 supporting working and living expenses for Maryland Artists by clicking here.
The purpose of the Grants for Artists program is to contribute to the sustainability of artists’ livelihoods by providing funds that support working or living expenses.
A primary aim of the program is to provide holistic support rather than restrict resources to the creative work that artists produce. A primary goal of the program is to bolster a creative workforce that composes a significant portion of Maryland’s creative and economic activity.
