This fund is for arts programming and residencies that encourage active community participation. Applicants must be located within Cecil County. One grant per year per organization is our usual policy (special circumstances may warrant a departure from this position).
Community Arts Development Grant

The Community Arts Development Grant program of the Cecil County Arts Council, Inc. is designed to:
- Foster excellence in the arts in Cecil County
- Provide project support for non‐profit organizations to bring quality arts programs to residents
- Encourage audience awareness of, and participation in, artistic expression in all media.
Arts In Education Grant

Quarterly Deadline for requests of less than $300
The Arts in Education (AiE) Program is designed to promote, strengthen, and enhance the arts and arts education in Cecil County’s elementary and secondary schools and other community settings.

The deadline to apply for the Public Art Across Maryland New Artworks and Conservation grants is Friday, April 14, 2023. Emergency Grant for Independent Artists
May 5, 2023
Emergency Grant applications for $2,000 for Independent Artists are being accepted through May 5, 2023! If you have experienced a loss of income due to an emergency occurring after January 1, 2022 that impacts your work as an independent artist, we encourage you to apply.
