The ‘Release the Kraken’ Rum Dinner will be at Backfin Blues Bar & Grill on Tuesday, August 16th. There will be a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, caricature artist & more! The proceeds will go towards benefitting a public art project in collaboration with Wicked Woodworks, Cecil County Arts Council, and Upper Bay Counseling.

Crab & shrimp ceviche
Citrus marinated jumbo lump crab meat and shrimp served on grilled garlic & herb crostini garnished with avocado mousse & asiago crisp

Lamb Chop Salad
Lemongrass & herb marinated New Zealand lamb chops served over a kale salad with blueberries, goat cheese, & pistachios; finished with a Kraken Rum reduction & olive oil drizzle

½ a jerk seasoned Cornish hen served over a creamy asparagus & herb risotto with sauteed snow peas

Pan seared day boat scallops & char-grilled octopus complimented with a blistered cherry tomato pesto sauce over squid ink infused pasta

House made flourless dark chocolate cake finished with a raspberry drizzle, Kraken infused whipped cream, a caramel shard, & fresh raspberry garnish
