The Cecil County Arts Council is working with the Cecil County Commission for Women (CFW) on an artist selection process for an art commission to create and design a logo to represent the CFW which will be used on paper and in digital formats.
MD STEM Festival Art Contest
Submissions due October 25, 2022
The annual art contest is open to all Maryland K-12 students, with categories for traditional art, computer generated art, and videos. Winners receive a monetary prize and will have their artwork displayed on the STEM Festival’s website.
Cecil County Art Walk
Art Proposals due March 31, 2023
The Friends of Cecil County Parks & Recreation is seeking artists to create interactive sculptures for the Brantwood Park Art Walk that they are creating. These sculptures will showcase “hidden stories” from Cecil County. They already have 3 specific stories in mind and they need artists to bring them to life.
