Don’t rain on her parade, possums! Scott F. Mason, Dame Enda’s “Honorary Understudy,” is back with another night of outrageous and over the top comedy with a Mother’s Day twist! Part comedy show, part game show this show is pure over-the-top fun!
The night begins with Mason’s award-winning Dame Enda impersonation, complete with stand-up routines and crowd work (where the audience will be lovingly skewered with Mason’s questions and barbs) and act two will feature a hilarious take on the ever popular “newlywed game” with mother’s and daughter’s (or sons!) as they compete for Milburn Stone Theatre tickets and more! Bring your mother out to see the Dame this spring, but don’t say we didn’t warn you!
Scott F. Mason has been professionally impersonating Dame Edna and entertaining audiences since 2003. He was chosen by Barry Humphries (the real Dame Edna) as her Honorary Understudy in 2010 on Broadway! Mason blends his own comedic material and that of the real Dame.
