Call For Entries! “Nature Speaks To Me” Exhibit
Calling all artists! The Cecil County Arts Council’s September exhibit is “Nature Speaks To Me,” featuring works in all media by CCAC members and non-members. This exhibit is shaped by the positive energy flowing through water, flowers and trees. Nature expresses itself in countless ways, but above all we are looking for art that leaves viewers with a feeling of deep peace and a gentle sense of good fortune. We will be accepting submissions from August 29–September 3. To submit your artwork, bring it to the Arts Council at 135 E. Main St., Elkton, MD. We ask you to fill out a registration form, which is available at the gallery and can also be downloaded here: Nature Speaks To Me registration form.
Artists can submit up to 5 works. There is an entry fee of $6 per piece ($15 for 3 or more pieces), which is waived for students and seniors. If you have any questions about how to submit your artwork, please contact our program manager, Zach Davis, at zachary@cecilarts.org or 410-392-5740.
Opening Reception: September 4, 2026 from 5–8 p.m.
Exhibit viewable September 4–25 during open hours.
Pickup Dates for artwork are September 26–October 1.
