Bob’s interest in the arts began at an early age when he received a “Learn to Draw With John Nagy” set for Christmas. Unfortunately, he never learned to draw. In school he developed an interest in sculpting. He became rather good at it! He lost interest in sculpting and gave it up. Eventually, his interest in history led to studying American decorative arts and a 40-year career as a furniture conservator/restorer. After retiring, he was encouraged by his wife, who was an amazing artist, to take up painting. Today he considers himself a hack painter, but never a fine artist! He loves art and does what he can to support the arts in Cecil County.
