Beatryz Hornung is a full-time oil painter and professional picture framer with a diverse background in visual arts and design. As a mother of four, she balances her creative practice with entrepreneurial pursuits, drawing on a broad range of experience in content marketing, digital design, gallery management, and exhibition design.
She holds a foundation in architecture from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Rutgers University. Beatryz brings a thoughtful, interdisciplinary approach to her work, applying spatial awareness, design thinking, and iterative processes to both her art and business.
Her fine art and framing practice reflects a deep understanding of how physical environments influence human experience and engagement. Guided by a strong belief in the transformative power of the arts, her work celebrates the role creativity plays in everyday life and community identity. Beatryz is honored to serve as an advocate for the arts through the Cecil County Arts Council, where she is committed to supporting local artists and fostering meaningful connections between art and community.
