SUMMARY:Art Responds March Show
DESCRIPTION:The March 2022 Exhibit at the Cecil County Arts Council features a showcase of works in the theme of “Arts Responds” alongside an open show with the theme “Current Events” (open to all media). This exhibit is open to submissions from CCAC Members and Non-Members.\nNEW! There will be a companion exhibit entitled “Agrarian Community, Nottingham Lots” featuring a showcase of photography works by photojournalist Adam Jacono. This is a collaboration exhibit involving the Cecil County Arts Council, Historical Society of Cecil County, and Cecil Land Trust. Jacono has taken photographs of farmers from the Nottingham Lots where their families have farmed for hundreds of years right here in Cecil County. There will be about 10 farmers featured in the front gallery with a story about each of their farms accompanying their photograph. For more information about the Nottingham Lots please CLICK HERE.\nThe Opening Reception is on March 4, 2022 from 5-8pm at the Cecil County Arts Council. There will be live music and refreshments.
